New School was conceptualized with the intention of spreading an awareness of path-breaking images that set the high standards of photography worldwide Inviting international icons from the photographic industry to share their knowledge and enlighten professional photographers, Creative Directors, students and other concerned bodies of the trade alike, created a meeting of minds like none other.
Over time, New School programs have been graced by the presence of luminaries like David LaChappelle, Jay Silverman, Nadav Kander, Aaron Jones, Hans Neilmann, and Hediki Fuji, to name a few. The venues at which our programs are held are the last word in luxury, ensuring a level of comfort for the duration of the series. Earlier sites have been the Taj West End, Bangalore; the Taj Palace, New Delhi; and the Leela in Mumbai.
New School 2005 was conducted at the Hyatt Regency, Sahar, Mumbai from
the 17th to the 21st February 2005. Contemporary greats like
David Zimmerman, Sanjay Kothari, Max Vadukul, Joyce Tenneson and
Jay Maisel, made this New School our most ambitious and successful
venture yet.
